Home to the annual Smithfield Ham & Yam Festival, the Neuse Little Theatre, and site of the new Neuse River Walk and Buffalo Creek Greenway, this five block nature park along the Neuse River offers picnic tables, trails, fishing, boat ramp, and  Amphitheater.

The Smithfield Parks & Recreation Department manages the Town Commons for those groups interested in reserving space for special events.
